It's another Friday the 13th. So what?
I am in no way superstitious. Never have been. I guess I just go by the idea that so called "luck" is when opportunity meets preparedness.
Someone wins the lottery because they had the right numbers. They had the right numbers because the machine picked them or they chose them. They were prepared and the numbers came up.
I met my wife, Marianne. I can say I was "lucky to meet her," or I can believe our paths crossed and I fell in love with her.
I guess what I am saying is when good things happen they are blessings, not luck.
I also believe that there are blessings when bad things happen, too. Those come in the form of lessons learned.
My focus needs to remain of the good.
Just like you and I meeting here on the Internet...What a blessing it is for me!
